DelDOT plow crews have been out all night and early this morning working to keep the roads passable as one to three inches fell across the area.
DelDOT says the primary roads are mostly just wet; however there are some slushy and icy spots. The secondary roads are passable, but spokesman jim Westhoff says they are still slick because they're still covered in packed snow and ice. However, he says people should still be able to get to where they want to go safely.
All plow crews were out on the roads as the snow fell. Now, half of the crews have been deactivated, and the rest will change shifts at 9 a.m.
