You’re invited to learn more about adapting to sea level rise next month in Lewes. DNREC will have information on possible actions that can be taken to improve Delaware capacity to adapt. Property damage, road closures and infrastructure damage from coastal storms, flooding and record high tides will become more routine with extreme weather and sea level rise, so conversation needs to take place now. The Lewes engagement session is Wednesday, February 13 from 4 to 7pm at Cape Henlopen High School. There will also be sessions in New Castle on February 19 and Dover on February 25.
