Wilmington man Found Guilty by Federal Jury on Drug & Attempted Murder Charges

A federal jury has found William Boney of Wilmington guilty of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine and attempted murder by retaliating against an informant and soliciting another to retaliate against an informant. Boney tried to make a 7-kilogram cocaine deal at his Delaware home which was broken up by the DEA.  After his arrest Boney was released to work with the DEA in the ongoing investigation.  He learned the name of a confidential informant and began to plot their murder.  A sentencing date has not been scheduled.
