The week of January 11 through the 21st is the Governor’s Week of Service and Governor Jack Markell and First Lady Carla Markell are urging Delawareans to join in a special volunteer project.  The Markells will take part in a week of projects that will end with a clean-up of the Laurel Boys & Girls Club along with other inauguration events.  When Governor Markell was first elected the first family opted for a week of service rather than the traditional inaugural ball.  Go to volunteerdelaware.org for more information.
