Kind to Kids Looking for Donations of Toys for DE Foster Children

Dec 11, 2012 -- 11:19pm

Not every child in Delaware will have a happy holiday because they’re not living at home – they’re part of the foster child care system.   That’s where the Kind to Kids Foundation comes in.  Children are in the foster care system for any number of reasons, but the Kind to Kids Foundation helps them to have a happy holiday.  The foundation is at work year round, but at Christmas is when those children really need some joy.  Kind to Kids is accepting new, unwrapped toys for foster children from infants to 18 years old.  They’re looking for wooden toys, stuffed animals, soccer balls, arts and crafts supplies and Mp3 players.  Gift cards are good for older teens and gloves and hats are needed by all.
