Surveillance Cameras Coming to Georgetown

Dec 13, 2012 -- 9:38am

Georgetown Police say they’ve received a $20,000 grant from the Delaware Special Law Enforcement Assistant Fund to install surveillance cameras on The Circle.

Georgetown Police Chief William Topping says he doesn’t have the manpower for his officers to be every where at once; the cameras will help alleviate the problem.

As more funds become available, cameras will be added to downtown Georgetown.
