Ocean City Man Free After Guns Found In Car During DUI Stop

Dec 19, 2012 -- 5:57am

An Ocean City man is free on his own recognizance after three guns were found in his car when he was stopped for DUI.

Ocean City Police say around 12:30 Sunday morning, officers stopped a car driven by 43-year-old Scot Randolf on Coastal Highway around 65th Street. Police were told that Randolf was drunk, and had three guns in his car. During the stop, police searched Randolf’s car and say they found a pair of handguns, a shotgun and ammunition. None of the guns were loaded. Police also say they found marijuana residue in the car.

Randolf was charged with drunk-driving offenses after police say a breathalyzer test showed he was more than three times the legal limit. He’s also charged with handgun possession offenses, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
