The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Kent and Sussex Counties until 6 o'clock tonight.
Winds will be blowing out of the northwest sustained at 20 to 30 miles per hour, with frequent gusts up to 45 miles per hour. The winds are forecast to be at their strongest this afternoon. Winds will diminish after sunset.
Drivers are asked to be cautious, especially when driving lightweight or high-profile vehicles and while driving over high bridges. Lightweight outdoor objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be brought inside or stored so that they don't blow away.
