The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is today trying to determine what sparked a blaze in an east Vine Street home in Salisbury Saturday night.

The blaze was called in just after 11 p.m.; four occupants, including children, were able to escape the flames safely.

Firemen say they believe the blaze started in a basement apartment.
