Pacem In Terris (Peace On Earth in Latin) will be hosting a community meeting in Wilmington tonight to discuss gun violence on both the national and local levels.
Executive Director Medard Gabel says the group wants residents to come out and discuss how to address gun violence moving forward, including making the streets safer for police officers and schools safer for students. The group supports measures to get assault rifles and other assault weapons off the streets.
The meeting will begin at 7 o'clock at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, on the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and North Rodney Street in Wilmington.
