A Milford man is in jail for shooting another man during a late-night argument last month.

Around 11 o’clock Saturday night, the Milford Police SWAT Team arrested 22-year-old Eric Correa. Police say in the early-morning hours on December 1, Correa got into an argument with a man at the Milford WaWa store, then followed him back to the Brightway Commons Apartment Complex. Police say Correa then pulled out a handgun and shot the man several times before running away. The victim was flown to Christiana Hospital in serious condition.

Correa has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and by a prohibited person. He’s being held at SCI on $170,000 bond.
