Attorney General Beau Biden has named prosecutor Peggy Marshall to be the Chief Sussex County Prosecutor. She brings 26 years of criminal court experience and will direct the 40 prosecutors, legal support and victim support personnel who prosecute criminal cases throughout Sussex. Since 2001 she has worked in the Sussex County Office where, among other assignments, she prosecuted firearm cases, established the Felony Screening Unit, and headed the Felony Trial Unit. She was also the lead prosecutor in the Michael “Milo” Hudson murder trial. Former Chief Sussex County Prosecutor, Paula Ryan, has recently been confirmed by the General Assembly to a seat on the Sussex County Family Court.
