January 11th through the 21st is the Governor’s 2013 Week of Service – and DNREC is looking for a few volunteers for a winter work day at the DuPont Nature Center east of Milford.  A variety of projects are available – including deck maintenance, Hurricane Sandy parking lot cleanup, beach cleanup and roadside/marsh trash cleanup.  This cleanup is on Saturday, January 12 from 1 to 3pm only.  To sign up – call 302-735-3609 or email lynne.staub@state.de.us. Work gloves & tools will be provided - however volunteers can bring their own as well.
