The Delaware Public Service Commission has a new executive director.
Robert Howatt has been selected by Secretary of State Jeff Bullock as the PSC’s new executive director. He takes over for William O’Brien, who left as executive director last month. Howatt is from Wilmington, and has 28 years of utility management experience. He’s been a manager of Regulatory Affairs for the Maryland Energy Administration, a Public Utilities Analyst for the PSC, and a planner for DNREC. Howatt also held several managerial roles until 2000 at Delmarva Power.
Howatt will take over as PSC Executive Director on January 22.
