Salisbury Police say alcohol MAY have been a factor in a car landing in the Wicomico River Thursday night.

The accident happened at the intersection of Waverly Drive and Carroll Street and police say there were two men in the vehicle that were able to get out of the car before it submerged; neither man was seriously hurt; they were however taken to PRMC for precautionary measures.

Police say charges are pending.
