Delaware State Police have arrested a 24-year-old Rehoboth Beach man wanted for unlawful use of his grandmother’s credit card.

Police say Maxwell Schenck was taken into custody at a home on Grandview Street in Lewes Friday afternoon after officers learned he was staying there with friends.

Schenck was charged with two counts of felony theft and 61 counts of unlawful use of a credit card; he was committed to SCI in lieu of $126,000 bail.

Police say Schenck stole the credit card from his grandmother and used it to make purchases totaling more than $2,500 at Walmart, Safeway, Royal Farms and Ruby Tuesday.
