The 261st Signal Brigade of the Delaware National Guard will hold a change of command ceremony today.
Taking over responsibility as the Commander of the 261st Signal Brigade is Colonel Frank Santore.
The ceremony starts at 2 p.m. at the Smyrna Readiness Center.
Colonel Santore began his military career in 1980 as a supply specialist with the 736th Supply and Service Company. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant four years later and assigned to the 198th Signal Battalion. Since then, Santore has held various positions with the 280th and 261st Signal Brigades, to include a deployed to Iraq. Colonel Santore lives in Milford with his wife Dolly and their son’s Vincent and Nicholas.
