DNREC will hold the second of three public hearings tonight night in Dover, in support of Executive Order 36. It’s Governor Jack Markell’s effort to strengthen Delaware’s economy by modernizing and streamlining regulations that may be outdated or unnecessarily burdensome, while maintaining the state’s commitment to improving public health and environmental performance.
The first hearing, for Sussex County, was held Jan. 7 in Georgetown.
Tonight’s hearing starts at 6 p.m. at the Delaware State University Bank of America Building.
The third and final hearing will be held in New Castle County on January 22.
