Four U.S. Army vets who participated in one of the most storied battles of the 10-year engagement in Afghanistan will be in Wilmington tonight.

The four were part of a 53-man remote deployment near the Pakistan border that was nearly overrun by 400 heavily armed Taliban troops; their stories were recounted in Jake Tapper’s best-selling book, “The Outpost:  An Untold Story of American Valor.”

Tapper will lead a discussion with the four men iat tonight's event which will be held at The Grand in Wilmington starting at 6:30 p.m.
