Senator Tom Carper is pleased with President Barack Obama’s recommendations for stronger gun control – but is also pleased that it’s not the only solution.  He says mental health treatment and improving school safety must also be a part of the continuing conversation.  Carper is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and believes that there are common sense steps that can be taken to reduce gun violence.
