Workers Spot Garage Fire at Easton Home

Jan 16, 2013 -- 6:23pm

Carpet cleaners working at an Easton home spotted a fire in the attached 2-car garage and notified the homeowners and helped them to get out of the house safely.  Maryland Fire officials say the blaze was contained to the garage thanks to a sprinkler system.  Firefighters from Easton and Oxford helped put out the blaze on Jasper Lane.  Damage is estimated at $120,000 – the Fire Marshal is still determining the cause of the fire.
