The Worcester County Criminal Enforcement Team went into a West Street home in Berlin with a search warrant in connection with an ongoing marijuana and heroin distribution investigation.  Berlin Police arrested 25 year old Joseph Shanahan and a search turned up 987 grams of marijuana, 99 individually wrapped bags of heroin and over $1500 in cash.  Shanahan faces numerous drug charges and is being held in default of $250,000 bond.
