Two Charged with Drug Offenses after Speeding Stop in Worcester

Maryland State Police stopped a box truck for speeding on Route 113 at Worcester Highway.  The trooper smelled marijuana coming from the truck and a search turned up over 430 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia and a digital scale.  The driver, William Thomas and passenger, Susan Liebowitz are charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. They were taken before the district court commissioner and released.
