MLK Day Observance This Afternoon at DSU

Delaware State University and the Inner City Cultural League will hold their annual Martin Luther King Day observance on campus this afternoon.

United Way of Delaware Vice President Reverend John Moore, Sr. will be the keynote speaker at the 28th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday Program. Reverend Moore is well known for his portrayal of Dr. King through his presentations of King’s most famous speeches.

The program will also include music from the Sankofa String Orchestra and the Children’s Choir from Mt. Zion AME Church of Dover.

The observance program will begin at noon in the Education and Humanities Theater.
