Two of three Maryland men are behind bars today, after being arrested by Dover Police on Sunday morning for armed robbery.
A K-9 officer was patrolling the downtown area just before 1 a.m., when he heard someone screaming; he spotted the person being chased by two suspects on South Governors Avenue. The suspects jumped into a waiting car and fled; the officer followed and pulled the car over on South New Street.
Police say 20-year-old Delvon Henry of Chestertown and 20-year-old David Somerville of Millington are being held at JTVCC on $20,400 bail, each; 20-year-old Tyrone Sisco of Chestertown was released after posting bail.
Police say Henry and Somerville covered their faces with bandanas and threatened the victim with a handgun, demanding cash while Sisco waited in the car. All three are charged with various offenses, including 1st degree robbery.
