Seaford Resident John Hollis to be Honored Wed. with Robert A. Kasey Lifetime Achievement Award

Jan 22, 2013 -- 8:51am

The idea of mentoring often conjures up images of a young child spending time with an adult maybe working on homework or talking over a challenge.

For John Hollis of Seaford, over 250 adults experienced his mentorship in their youth and today they all have earned at least a college degree, often return to speak to high schoolers in Sussex County and simply rave about Hollis’ positive influence on their lives.

Hollis will be honored at luncheon in Dover at noon Wednesday; he’ll be presented with the Robert A. Kasey Lifetime Achievement Award at the 4th Annual Mentoring Works Summit.
