UPDATED DECEMBER 23: Two of the three men accused of robbing a man in Rehoboth have been arrested.
Delaware State Police arrested 17-year-olds Shawn Godwin and Alexander Jones of Lincoln early this morning. Troopers say they were called by a relative of Godwin's after she questioned him about how he got an iPhone that he never had before. They say Jones used a black BB gun that looked like a semi-automatic handgun to commit the robbery. Godwin and Jones were eached charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy, and released to the custody of parents.
Troopers are still looking for 18-year-old Artez Sheppard of Lincoln. He's wanted out of the Sussex County Family Court, and is also being charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy. Troopers believe he may be living in the Burton Village Apartments in Rehoboth.
Delaware State Police are looking for the three men who robbed a man in Rehoboth early this morning.
Troopers say just after 1:35 this morning, a man was returning to his home on Bryan Drive in Midway Estates when he was approached by three men. One of them pointed a handgun at the man and demanded money. The man turned over some money, and the three men fled on foot. The victim wasn’t injured.
The robbers are all black men. One is 6 feet to 6-foot-2. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and a baseball hat. The other two men are 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, and were last seen also wearing baseball hats. They were unarmed.
